Introduction & Scope of Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is published by i1dompet ("we", "Platform", "i1dompet") and applies to all individuals who register for, access, or use the i1dompet platform via the website i1dompet.app and any of its associated subdomains ("Member", "you").

We operate with the privacy of every member in mind. This Policy clearly and transparently explains how your personal data is collected, used, stored, protected and, in certain circumstances, shared — all in accordance with the principles set out in Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) Malaysia.

Important Note: By registering or continuing to use the i1dompet platform after the effective date of this Privacy Policy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to all terms contained herein. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform and contact us to close your account.

This policy covers only data processing carried out directly by i1dompet. It does not extend to the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that you may access via links on the platform, even if those links originate from i1dompet.

Purpose & How We Use Your Data

I1dompet uses collected personal data solely for the legitimate, stated purposes listed below. We will not use your data for any other purpose without first obtaining your renewed consent:

  • Account Management: Creating, verifying, and maintaining your i1dompet member account
  • Payment Processing: Processing deposits via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow and FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks), as well as withdrawal processing in MYR

  • Contractual Requirement: Processing required to fulfil the service contract between you and i1dompet
  • Legal Obligation: Processing required under Malaysian law, including regulatory reporting obligations to the relevant authorities
  • Legitimate Interest: Processing for fraud prevention, platform security and service improvement purposes that do not prejudice your fundamental rights
Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent for certain processing activities (particularly marketing) at any time by contacting i1dompet support. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the validity of any processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

  • Malaysian Authorities: Law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, or courts when required under Malaysian law
  • Cloud Services & Infrastructure: Technical infrastructure providers that host the i1dompet platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements
  • Fraud Prevention Services: Risk assessment and identity verification service providers for KYC and AML purposes
Cross-Border Data Transfers: Where data needs to be transferred outside Malaysia, i1dompet ensures that the receiving party provides a level of data protection equivalent to or exceeding Malaysia's PDPA 2010 standards through binding data processing agreements.

Data Retention Period

I1dompet retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, or as required by Malaysian law, whichever is longer:

  • Active Account Data: For as long as your account remains active with i1dompet
  • KYC Data & Identity Verification: Minimum 7 years after account closure, in line with Malaysia's AML requirements
  • Financial Transaction Records: 7 years from the transaction date, in line with the requirements of the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and Bank Negara Malaysia
  • Support Communication Logs: 3 years from the date of last interaction
  • Technical Data & Logs: 90 days for standard access logs, 1 year for security logs
  • Marketing Data: Until you withdraw consent or request deletion

Once the applicable retention period has expired, data will be securely deleted or anonymised using methods that ensure it can no longer be linked back to your identity.

I1dompet does not accept registrations from individuals under the age of 18 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. This platform is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and above.

Immediate Action: Should i1dompet discover that personal data of a child under 18 has been collected without our knowledge, such data will be deleted immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has registered on i1dompet, please contact us right away at privacy@i1dompet.app.

Data Breach Response Procedures

I1dompet has a comprehensive incident response procedure in place to address any data breach that may occur. Our procedure is as follows:

  • Detection & Assessment: Our automated monitoring system detects and alerts on any breaches in real time
  • Retention: Immediate action is taken to isolate affected systems and prevent further damage
  • Regulatory Authority Notification: Within 72 hours of confirming a breach, we will notify the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Department in accordance with the PDPA
  • Member Notifications: Affected members will be notified via email and in-platform notification with details of the breach, data that may have been exposed, and steps that have been taken
  • Investigation & Recovery: A thorough investigation to determine the root cause of the breach, followed by the implementation of preventive measures to avoid recurrence

Privacy Policy Amendments & How to Contact Us

I1dompet reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or technological developments. Members will be notified of any material amendments via email or in-platform notification at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Continued use of the i1dompet platform after any amendment takes effect will be considered acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
